Blonde Ombre Hair
Blonde ombre hair is a common site on the catwalk. It is a gorgeous artistic style that dazzles the eyes and imagination of the onlooker. A blonde ombre works within a parameter of two tones of blonde. Generally, the darker blonde is at the crown blending to a lighter blonde at the tips. The effect boldens with how much difference exists between the two blonde shades. For a more subtle blonde ombre, the colorist will pick two blonde tones more closely matched.
In model Whitney Rouse’s case, her hair radiates with a natural brightness in soft waves at the top gently lending way to icy whiteness towards the tips. Her blonde drenched locks almost blend in with the canopy backdrop of the photo studio. To get this effect colorist Bee Sam did an ombre over one of her previous layage creations with Whitney. This meant working over the previous toner and painting the highlights by hand. For a colorist, it is like returning back to a hair creation and re-igniting certain aspects of the color while also adding new artistic effects. One of the benefits of an ombre is that it can be enhanced with grow-out, which also means the colorist can return back to the client’s hair with different toner and balayage techniques to bring out more luster in the client’s previous style.
